It was with great sadness that we learned on Friday January 29 of the sudden and unexpected passing of Phil Game. He was one of the founders of the Child of Hope UK charity in 2010 and a member of the board of trustees, which he chaired from 2014.

Covid may have put paid to the usual Christmas party for Child of Hope families hosted at our school, with its special meal of meat, rice and vegetables, but this year about 600 families could still enjoy a celebratory meal at home.

Our health team and social workers are encouraging families to find ways to improve hygiene and risk of infection – this simple wooden wash stands, made from sticks and string, keeps dishes safely off the ground.
