Meet Dave, one of our nursery class children. When he joined the school, nobody knew his real name as he is known in the community by his nickname ‘Doctor’. So, this year, while taking his detailed profile, the welfare team decided to name him ‘Dave’ after his sponsor.
He was originally enrolled two years ago but failed to start school when Covid-19 closed all Ugandan schools for nearly two years. Now, at the age of seven, he is attending class regularly and enjoying the full curriculum experience – happy at last to be at school. Dave loves dancing during the morning devotions and is quickly making new friends.
