As there is no healthcare or social care provision in the Namatala slum, Child of Hope steps in to help provide welfare support.
Our team conducts home visits, provides counselling, and offers training for parents/carers, along with school nurse services and local clinic care if needed. Nursery children receive porridge each morning; the most vulnerable Nursery and Primary children also receive lunch. And we run a fostering programme to help those who cannot live with their immediate families.
