Esther (pictured above) was one of our first pupils back in 2008. When she was in P6, she lost her grandmother, the only family she had. With nowhere to go, one of our incredible foster families welcomed her into their home, giving her love and stability.

Esther has now completed her early childhood course and is working towards her future, earning money by selling wheat flour and groundnut paste while job hunting. She’s ready to step out on her own, a testament to the care and opportunity she received.

But this story doesn’t end here! The same foster family who raised Esther is now opening their home to Zaituna (pictured below), a P5 girl who has been sleeping in neighbours’ houses and even video halls, with no safe place to call home.

We know that, like Esther, Zaituna will thrive in their care.
