As part of his course, he has gained some hands-on experience through internship at a large local dairy farm. He has learned about treating various diseases in animals and pest control. Mark has also learned to identify the safety and control measures associated with milk production.
These practical experiences have enhanced Mark’s personal passion for working with animals and, following completion of his course, he looks forward to establishing himself in a career centred on animal husbandry.
