The Gill Sherlock Memorial Secondary School students recently participated in the local debate and speech championship against other secondary schools for the first time — and did exceptionally well!
Joel, one of the S2 boys, made it to the finals in oral storytelling, and the debate team advanced to the third round. We're so proud of their achievements!
They are already planning to enter more students next year, and will be starting a debate club and a writers' club. Exciting times ahead!
