Every day in Nursery, our youngest pupils learn to read and write using phonics. The children love the lessons as they learn actions and songs to help them write the letters and learn the sounds.
They also do lots of exciting activities such as making play dough letters, finding objects for each sound and practising their writing with chalk on the playground.
