Remember four year-old Raphael? A couple of months ago we reported on his emergency surgery following Hirschsprung disease that he had suffered from birth and more recently a prolapsed colostomy where his large intestines have come out of his body.
Kind UK donors made the operation possible and now, after having a major problem in passing stools all his life, Raphael is now passing much more normally. Our health team and Raphael’s mother continue to monitor him closely, and things are looking good!
