As reported, our new secondary school opened on February 3, with much excitement in the local slum communities where we work.
Due to some pretty bad weather, and despite working very hard, our builders didn’t quite finish in time for the start of the news school year. But it was enough for our team to launch the school and, as you’ll see in this short video, what’s left to be done is mostly painting and groundworks.
We’re proud that our secondary students can now receive the same high level of education that they enjoyed at our nursery and primary schools. A huge thanks goes to the grant-making organisations, churches, companies and individuals who have been extremely generous in providing the funds we needed.
