Peace and Patience, two Child of Hope pupils, showed initiative in setting themselves up with a small holiday business selling sugar cane. Between them they had one thousand shillings to invest in buying ten sugar canes from a local farm. Selling them at two hundred shillings a cane, they stood to double their money. Their plan is to use this money to buy breakfast snacks when school resumes.
