A new headteacher, Juliet Adeke, took up her post at Child of Hope Primary School during the recent school holidays, immediately getting stuck into her new responsibilities. A qualified, dedicated and determined woman, she is already working to raise standards even higher and to ensure efficient, cost-effective running of the school.
Juliet grew up in Namatala and began her teaching career in Mbale. She has previously been Director of Studies in a school in Karamoja and Head of Lower School and English in Kampala schools, so brings with her a wealth of useful experience. She also has a diploma in special education which will add valuable skills to the school staff.
Juliet’s roots give her good understanding of local needs and she is proud to now be taking responsibility for a school in her own home area.
