Edina, a student at our Gill Sherlock Memorial Secondary School, is passionate about agriculture and hopes eventually to train as a vet. Unlike students in many other Ugandan schools, she has the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in animal husbandry alongside her theoretical studies, thanks to Child of Hope’s farming projects.
She was recently able to apply her theoretical studies on the management of pest-infected animals. Under supervision, she mixed the pesticide herself and sprayed the farm animals. Edina is determined to study hard and get to college to pursue her dream.
