One of our fabulous P5 boys, Titus, has been recognised for his cross-country and sprinting talent!
During a local athletics competition, his potential was noticed, and he was selected to represent Mbale city in the regional games in Luwero for cross-country and the national competition in Kitgum for the 100m. He did amazingly well in his first national competition!
Titus has faced many challenges, having lost his mum three years ago and being abandoned by his dad. He now lives with a kind elderly community member. Despite these hardships, Titus remains positive and loves singing, dancing, and acting. You might remember him as the angel Gabriel in last year’s Christmas video!
At Child of Hope, we love helping our children develop their talents. Who knows, maybe Titus will be the next Cheptegei, and represent Uganda in the Olympics one day!
