Water carrying.jpgOur kitchen team – that’s Susan, Margret, Mary and Annet – arrive much earlier than other staff our school to ensure that food is ready on time for all 500 children and 70 staff.

Starting at 5.00am, firewood gets sorted so the fires in the stoves can be lit… water needs to be boiled… beans are sorted… vegetables peeled and washed… porridge is prepared. These ladies love their work – and the students and staff all love them for it!
