P7 returns_3126.jpg

Today, our two candidate (exam) classes Primary 7 (pictured) and Secondary 4 re-opened following government approval at both sites (with glowing reports), but no news yet on when the other classes can return.

After an inspection by Ministry of Education officials the previous week, our school was found to be fit to welcome back the learners after many months of government lockdown due to Covid-19. Our primary teachers are also in good shape to cause a positive impact to the learners who have reported.

The children are being initiated into a learning atmosphere by an orientation session that will last two days. The teachers are communicating to them what they should expect when serious learning starts next week. The sessions include videos about ongoing Coronavirus situations from around the world, so they can understand the extent and damage that the disease has caused.

The children are happy to be back and seem keen to try and recover what they have lost in the last six months.
