The team came to the support of a mother in the community who was admitted to hospital for two weeks with Hepatitis B, leaving her young family to fend for themselves. The children were living in a dirty environment that risked their exposure to other dangerous diseases.
The team helped out by repairing and cleaning the house, including sanitising the jerry-cans used for collecting water. The news of their help in improving the conditions at home brought relief to this mother and helped her towards recovery.
This is just one example of how the family support team continually reaches out with prayer and practical help to the families of children at Child of Hope School, training them to lead healthy lifestyles.
