We thought you would like to see some photos of the nursery children at our Namalu nursery playing football.
They put out some makeshift goalposts and had lots of fun (even without shoes)! The pictures also give a good representation of the remote area where the children live.
They love playing football during break times. Cooperative play at school, including team games, helps the children build strong friendships, develop compassion, and increase their fitness. It also demonstrates that educational play doesn’t necessarily require purchasing expensive resources — strategically placed bricks and sticks, bushes and dungheaps can do the job just fine!
