If you’ve been following our news for a long while, you may remember the story of Reuben who lost both his parents in a fatal accident when he was a baby. Since that time, he has been brought up by his grandmother.
They live in a one-roomed dwelling in the heart of Namatala slum. His grandmother has no job so they depend upon the support they receive from Child of Hope and other friends. It is especially hard for Reuben when his grandmother is ill, as he can’t cook for himself, so our family support team keeps in close contact with the family to ensure their continued welfare.
