Since the lockdown was eased, 10 year old Isaiah has been helping his mother to sell vegetables from her small grocery stall next to the school. She has difficulty walking because of a longstanding leg ailment.
After five years of support from Child of Hope, Isaiah is in the Primary 2 class. He has never known his Chinese father and has lived in Namatala slum most of his life with his single mother, one of the mums we have helped start a business.
