Wilfred and Ronny (Primary 5 and Primary 7 respectively) help to look after the Child of Hope dogs and their puppies daily, feeding, washing and playing them.
Each evening they go to the nursery/primary school site to let the adult dogs out and ensure the puppies are safe in their kennels. The boys exercise the dogs, then leave them to roam the school compound all night on guard duty. They return each morning to lock the dogs up and release the puppies for exercise and a meal of porridge.
Their help relieves Max, the site manager, of duties that would otherwise fall to him.
