Tailor Sarah web_0617.jpg

Before lockdown, our tailor Sarah did a wonderful job of making uniforms for the Child of Hope secondary students. With a reduction in demand since the schools closed, Sarah has switched to making Covid face masks for staff and other members of the school community in the last three months.

In addition, she has been helping our pupils learn to mend their own clothes, as many of their families cannot afford the local costs of mending. She has asked those children who come for her help to tell others to bring their damaged clothes for repair too.
