Exam classes are resuming serious study for their respective exams at both the primary and secondary schools.
The secondary students are completing revision assessments set during the long closure, assisted by their teachers who have prepared well for their return. The children have been put in small groups which will allow for more focused teaching and give the best opportunity for them to catch up on missed learning. Primary pupils are doing refresher tests to inform teachers what they need to focus their input on in the time remaining to them before the primary leaving exams (PLE).
The PLE exams for P7 are at the end of March 2021 and the O-level exams for S4 are in March/April 2021.
In the meantime, teachers from lower Primary and Nursery continue to work hard planning and making resources for when their children return.
The mood in both schools is positive as everyone is pleased to get back to teaching and learning.
