Our welfare team undertakes daily community walks to monitor the needs of families. Their varied support extends beyond Child of Hope families to others who are vulnerable. One example is of an elderly woman who prepared a kiln to bake bricks but did not have the necessary strength to chop part of a tree into logs small enough for the kiln.
Our welfare officer, Charles, came to the rescue. Thanks to his voluntary help, the elderly mother now has a large pile of split wood to keep her kiln burning and her bricks baking.
