The new school term has just begun, and we have new children in our reception class at Namatala nursery school.
Every academic year, our social workers work hand in hand with our education team to get new children into the nursery. The process of getting them registered has involved intensive walks in the community. Many families were visited and the little children in the families were assessed by our welfare team. As a result of the joint effort of our family support unit and the education department, 63 new children have begun attending our reception class in the nursery. It’s good to have these little ones join our school community, looking proud of their new uniforms.
