It has been nearly a year and a half since the nursery children were in school, adding to the busy ambiance of the primary school site with their joyful play. In the community, the children cannot play the kind of games they enjoyed at school.
With the current Covid situation, it is unclear when the school compound will once again enjoy the sound of the youngest children in our school community. These are the ones who have sadly missed out most on their education during the pandemic. When they eventually return, they will have a lot of ground to make up.
In the meantime, our family support team is keeping an eye on them and helping their families through any food shortages and health issues.
