Peter is in Senior Two at our secondary school. Like many teenagers, he loves being in class, but he also carries a big responsibility.
At weekends, you’ll find him walking long distances with a bag on his shoulder, selling earrings, toys, sunglasses and other small items. It’s hard work, but the little profit he makes pays for his school lunch, books, and even food at home.
Peter’s parents aren’t able to provide for him, so he’s taken it on himself to keep his education going. His determination and creativity are admirable – well done, Peter!
