Reinventing the wheel in a physics lesson

Pupils in S2 at the secondary school have been re-inventing the wheel in their physics lessons.

Under the topic of 'simple machines,' the pupils have developed a wheel and axel design to make a rudimentary lifting device. Working together as a team, they constructed the model from found materials. This device could be applied practically to obtain water from a well, making it a handy machine for the community.

We look forward to seeing what they come up with next!
