There was great excitement at Child of Hope last week! Our Primary and Nursery pupils received fantastic new resources thanks to outstanding fundraising efforts by UK schools during Give and Learn Day 2023.
Inspired by Ugandan methods, the UK pupils joined in with traditional dances, learned the Ugandan emblem, and created art from natural resources.
With funds raised, the COH pupils now have everything needed for football, netball, volleyball, athletics — and even giant games of snakes and ladders! We have also bought various musical instruments, including local drums, and the Nursery classes are over the moon with their new toys.
Thank you so much to all the schools that participated — you have made a fantastic difference to the children. Schools can host our Give and Learn Day whenever is convenient for them — spread the news! We would love lots more schools to join in.
