Child of Hope runs workshops at the start of every holiday for secondary school and vocational students. Their purpose is to empower the youth with life-changing skills.
The welfare department invites external facilitators from various organisations to join them in speaking to the students, which provides opportunity for the young people to reflect on their performance and prepare themselves for the next term. The workshops help Child of Hope to stay in close touch with all their students and guide them towards positive experiences in adulthood.
They have a social function too, helping to build positive relationships between the young people who are studying in different centres as they share their various experiences together.
