Having followed a two-year Early Childhood Development course sponsored by Child of Hope, Jordan officially graduated as a teacher in December.
He now heads up and teaches in the Namalu nursery in Karamoja, where 58 children attend. The nursery receives exceptional local support, as evidenced by retaining all but two of last year's children — in an area where it is notoriously difficult to engage children in education. Being a local man has assisted Jordan's acceptance in this role by his community. They are impressed by Child of Hope's work with their children and the support given to their families.
