It’s been hard during school closures to maintain our programme of de-worming our pupils - but teachers and health workers have been able to reach 95% our our children to keep them protected from parasites.

In many parts of Uganda, it’s common to find fathers at home providing childcare while their wives are away working to bring in family income. Peter and his brother are looked after by their father while their mother is away seeking casual labouring work to provide the food the family needs.

School Covid closure it isn’t stopping students at our secondary school from keeping good study habits going. They have recently formed themselves into discussion groups!

With Covid restrictions and last season’s poor harvest, our staff are providing ongoing mentoring to ensure that our mums’ small businesses survive, unlike many others in the community.
